InfoCons organizes today, 18.10.2018, starting at 17:30, the cultural event for the launch of the cultural project “Culture for Culture! 100 Romania! “. The event will take place at the Palace of Justice of Bucharest, Splaiul Independenţei, number 5, sector 4 – Hall of the “Lost Passes”.
We are waiting for you at a cultural event that marks the first major project to re-establish 100 years of national identity by bringing history back to the attention of the Romanians.
Within the Project, for the first time in Romania, the endowment of the pre-university education institutions and the public institutions with a collection of paintings with photographs – “Gallery of the Romanian War of Reunification in 1917” will be realized in over 4,000 locations. At the same time the project will launch the site centenar.infocons.ro, in which will be found pictures of 100 years ago with places and buildings from Bucharest, Alba Iulia and Iasi, old photos that were rebuilt in the same location on the day today, a passage over time to a hundred years, images that show us the passing of a Centenary over Romania.
All of these images are of exceptional quality to be printed and displayed in the form of paintings in various institutions, but also by the private sector free of charge.
Within this project will be created: a catalog – the album of the heroes, a album devoted to those who fought in the War of Reunification of Romania from 1917, in which will be depicted images from the First World War, the monuments locations celebrating the martyrs of the First World War, as well as the list of Romanian soldiers fallen on duty and a “Photo Album 1918 -2018”, in which images of buildings, architectural monuments from Bucharest, Iasi and Alba will be illustrated by a parallel (1918-2018).
These materials will be found during the Project and at centenar.infocons.ro, but will also be made available to libraries in Romania free of charge.
During the event, a photo contest will be launched – “The 100-Year Photography Competition” from the 1917 War of Reunification of Romania and the Union of Romanians “, organized under the aegis of the Cultural Events Project, a contest that will award prizes to the winners of 39,000 lei.
